MCDADE CHURCH OF CHRIST

The McDade church of Christ was organized on September 6, 1880.  It was the first church of Christ in Bastrop county and grew from its small beginnings to start congregations in three and possibly four other communities in Bastrop and Lee counties. We have a membership of over 40 and an average worship attendance of about 24. We mail HOUSE TO HOUSE/HEART TO HEART to every mailing address in the 78650 zip code.  We are non-denominational using the Bible only.  We try to be sure we follow the Bible completely concerning all matters. The church of Christ in McDade seeks to Glorify God by: 1.  enabling the family to worship and to praise Him together. 2.  caring for and reaching out to the lost and broken. 3.  teaching and edifying this church family to serve and love one another. 4. encouraging each other to do good works and live holy lives. 5.  looking forward to Christ's coming again and being together in heaven. Our minister is Ronnie Gregory.  He has been in the ministry for over 30 years and has ministered here for more than 20 years.
